How did the Black Nazarene came to be and what year was it brought to the Philippines?

The Black nazarene was originally a wooden statue color but it became black according to one tale. It was said that it came to Manila in the year 1606 but according to a tale, Spanish missionaries brought the icon in Manila aboard a ship. The said ship caught fire burning the Nazarene turning it black. But despite its condition, the people kept the charred Nazarene for worship. Since then, miraculous things occured in the place.

Why was it called the Black Nazarene?

Because it is a black image statue of Jesus Christ carrying a cross (originally not black according to a tale).

Reflection

I guess i can say that the article is quite good. It instills a sense of faith in the believers which could help spread the religion. I myself could learn more about the procession with this article. After reading the article myself, I was quite shocked to even know that the procession itself is quite known around the world.

My Wish List

For my wish list, i have only one wish for the whole world and of course, it is to have peace all throughout the globe. This is my chosen wish first of all because i can see that there are too many arguements, fights, wars, etc. that are happening in the world. And the victims of these are not themselves but other people and most of them, are innocent.

My Friends and what we do during our spare time

These are my friends Nikki and Ramos. We are always together when there are special events. we always care for one another. Sometimes when we have spare time we go out and play computer games or invite each other at one another's homes to play PS2 or anything that we can get out hands on. When my friend Nikki went to Canada all i can do is to communicate to her through Yahoo Messenger

What makes the Philippines no.1 in the SeaGames?

What really makes the Philippines no. 1 in the Sea Games is because the 23rd Sea Games is venued here in the Philippines. It will only be a shame for us if we didn't even win at least 5 medals. Because of this our pleyers really tried their best and strived hard to win in the Sea Games. So, if you ask me what make the Philippines no.1 it will be because of their love for the Philippine that driven them to win.

The 2005 SeaGames

The 2005 SeaGames was venued here in the Philippines. There were a lot of games which the Philippines won gold medals. Of course, there were rumors that spread out which says that Taiwan is claiming that the Philippines cheated but it all left out. At the end, all were fine and ended the 23rd SeaGames with a smile in their faces .

Advent Wreath

Early this tuesday we had an unannouced mass. I took almost 2 subjects of our day. It was only for the blessing of our advent wreaths. Surprisingly, no one of our class brought his advent wreath. Luckily, our class adviser didn't get mad at us. I think it's because most of us brought our christmas decorations for the classroom. Although, she assigned us to bring our wreaths the next day.
